A learning opportunity that focuses on the practical needs of nurses who work in a lean environment and remain focused on patient care.
In collaboration with healthcare partners Middle Georgia State University has developed a learning opportunity that focuses on the practical needs of nurses who work in a lean environment and remain focused on patient care. We stripped out all the theory and jargon and created a self-paced learning experience for people who want to learn the fundamentals of quality improvement and lean so they may be successful working with management and the patient.
This program contains four modules which are designed to take the learner through basic quality and efficiency principles to organizational assessment and strategic management of inefficiencies and costly processes in the settings in which you work. It is staffed by expert academic coaches who provide continuous assistance through the self-paced environment. This means that you must successfully complete all assignments and assessments of a module before moving on to the next module.
The next 4 month class sign up begins February 15th. Upon successful completion of the program you will receive a certificate. This certificate will also count toward PLA in some of our nursing programs.
Quantity discounts are available when purchased by an employer.
