Miguel has been highly involved on campus during his time at MGA. He helped to start the Marketing Association Club and SAM Club, was part of the inaugural club football team, has been a trainer in the Wellness Center and has helped promote events in Student Life. He strives to be a leader in and outside the classroom, being an active part of the MGA community and promoting the many positive aspects of the university.
His advice to fellow students: “Put yourself around influential people and always remember that hard work does pay off in the long run. Also, by joining organizations you can not only achieve your goals but help fellow Knights achieve theirs.”
Hometown: Eastman, GA
Major: Business Administration
During Rebecca’s time at MGA, she has been the Stage Manager for the Theater Club, student worker in the Financial Aid office, President of the MGA Ambassador Program and Orientation Committee Leader for 3 years in a row. In her spare time, she is a photographer and volunteers with Middle Georgia Food Bank, College Hill Alliance and CASA of Houston County, Inc.
Her advice to fellow students: “Use your time wisely. When I first started my journey at MGA, I felt like I should focus all my energy on making good grades and nothing else mattered. After my first year, I realized there was so much I could do to get involved at the college that would help me grow as a person if I just made the time. By giving my time and effort, I have had so many opportunities that have made my academic life easier while helping me become a more professional individual.”
