1. I need to take an exam with Testing Services, what should I do next?

Please visit the individual pages for information on specific exams such as Accuplacer, Math Placement Exam (MPE), GA/US Constitution or GA/US History, GACE, CLEP, and DSST.

2. What is the refund policy for MGA Testing Services?

  • As of June 1, 2021, Testing Services will resume our original refund policy: All exams purchased after 6/1/2021 are non-refundable and non-transferable.

3. I need to take an Accuplacer Exam, what do I do next?

  • Both Academic and Employment Accuplacer Exams can be administered virtually or on-campus.
  • The virtual exam requires a computer, camera, microphone, stable wifi connection, quiet test environment, and a valid, government issued form of ID.
  • If you would like to take take the exam virtually, please visit our Accuplacer webpage for information regarding Academic or Employment Accuplacer registration instructions.
  • If you would like to take the exam on campus, please go to the Accuplacer webpage and select the "Click To Register" button at the bottom of the page.

4. I'm a student with accommodations at MGA and I have questions about testing.

5. Who should I contact if I have questions about my exam, registration, or payment?

Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 6:00 pm

GOVERNMENT-ISSUED IDENTIFICATION 

All test takers must have a valid government-issued picture ID in order to test.

Acceptable IDs include:

  • Passport
  • State ID
  • State Driver’s License
  • Military ID
  • Tribal ID
  • Permanent Resident Card

High School ID accepted for current high students and eCore exams only.

YOUR MIDDLE GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY ID ALONE IS NOT ACCEPTED FOR ALL OTHER EXAMS. 

TESTING POLICIES 

Only test takers are permitted in the testing area. Testing Services reserves the right to refuse test administration to an individual if unsupervised children are present.

Late test takers will not be permitted to begin the exam unless there is sufficient time as indicated by the Test Administrator.

Items prohibited within Testing Services’ Testing Center include cell phones, E-books and other electronic devices. Also prohibited are watches, hoods, hats, sunglasses, drinks, and food/chewing gum/mints.

ACADEMIC DISHONESTY

Testing Services at MGA defines academic dishonesty as (1) giving or receiving unauthorized assistance of any kind, (2) using any unauthorized aids (cell phones, books, website's, calculator watches, smart watches, electronic devices, etc.), (3) attempting to take an exam for someone else, (4) failing to follow examination rules/regulations and instructions of Testing Center staff, and/or (5) attempting to remove questions, responses, or notes from the Testing Center.
