Biography: | Bill Carty is an Assistant Professor at Middle Georgia State University in the Business School’s Management Department. He was born and raised in New Hampshire and retired to Georgia following his military service. Bill holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and previously served as a Green Beret Colonel in the US Army. He held leadership positions throughout his service, to include serving as the Deputy Commandant of the US Army Infantry School during the period in which women were integrated into ground combat units. He speaks to community, military, and academic organizations on leadership and national security matters. Bill has been married to his wife, Cheryl since 1997. They have a daughter and a son. He is an avid outdoorsman, fan of Boston sports teams and SEC football. Bill is driven to lead individuals and organizations to be better by teaching others to lead individuals and organizations to be better. |
