Biography: | Amanda Davis joined the Middle Georgia State University's Master of Science in Occupational Therapy Bridge Program in April of 2023. She became a nationally registered occupational therapist in 2010 and currently holds licenses in the states of North Carolina and Georgia. Her clinical experiences include working with adults in inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, outpatient rehabilitation, and specialized programs for neurorehabilitation, mental health, and workplace disability. Dr. Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina, a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Science degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, and a post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Prior to joining Middle Georgia State, she has worked with occupational therapy students in the role of assistant professor, adjunct instructor, role-emerging fieldwork program supervisor, and fieldwork educator. |
