| Biography: | Dr. Ingram is an Associate Professor and is currently the Chair of the Department of Nursing at Middle Georgia State University. She has 20 years of experience in academia and 34 years as a Registered Nurse. Specialty areas of practice included medical/surgical nursing, intensive care nursing, and dialysis. Dr. Ingram has served in many roles during her nursing career including staff nurse, charge nurse, Nurse Manager, Director of Quality and Inservice, and Associate Professor. Dr. Ingram obtained a BSN degree and a MSN in Nursing Administration from Georgia College and State University. She obtained a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Medical College of Georgia (MCG). Her area of interest in her doctoral studies included organizational readiness for evidence-based practice implementation. Dr. Ingram volunteered for Central Georgia Susan G Komen organization for which she was a Board Member. She also is a past-President for the Georgia Association for Nursing Education (GANE) non-profit organization and a member of the Jones County Rotary Club. Currently she serves as Treasurer for the Georgia Association of Nursing Deans and Directors. |
