Biography: Dr. Jordan has several years of experience in healthcare, business administration, and education. Dr. Jordan has over 30 years in the field of healthcare alone. She has held several positions at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany Georgia. Dr. Jordan’s last position at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital was Coordinator of Health Education for the Network of Trust Teen Pregnancy Program. Her role included educating pregnant and/or parenting teen mothers in middle and high schools, located in six different counties in southwest Georgia. Currently, Dr. Jordan serves as an Assistant Professor at Middle Georgia State University, School of Business, Health Care Administration Department. She has published several scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, published book chapters, and presented research studies at several major conferences across Georgia and the U.S.

Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate or graduate students on topics such as children's literature, learning and development, and reading instruction. Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers and prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts. Conduct research in a particular field of knowledge and publish findings in professional journals, books, or electronic media. Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues and advice students on academic and vocational curricula and on career issues.
