Biography: I appreciate my current tenure as the Bachhelor of Social Work (BSW) Field Education Director, as well as an Associate Professor. I have had a career in the field of social work over the span of about 20 years, working with children and families in multiple settings, including the mental health field, case management, and employee assistance. Throughout this time, I have conducted various social work tasks, mostly in the areas of child welfare, mental health, and clinical activities.

I received my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at California State University, Long Beach in 2002 and my Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Social Work at the University of South Florida in 2013. I am passionate about the importance of social work in society.
