Weather Alert- Campus Updates for Wednesday (1/22/2025)

Due to the winter weather system that our area is currently experiencing, Middle Georgia State University will continue to operate remotely on Wednesday, Jan. 22.

To ensure the safety of our campus community members while continuing to serve our student population, faculty and staff will be available to assist you by phone and email.  Essential personnel, including public safety, will be on campus during this time. Face-to-face instruction will be moved to virtual. Please contact your instructors for all alternate accommodations in specialized fields.

For our residential students, on-campus dining tomorrow will be limited to brunch and dinner service in Georgia Hall and Camelot Court. The Recreation & Wellness Centers on the Macon and Cochran campuses will be closed.

 Updates and guidance for operations on Thursday, Jan. 23 will be provided tomorrow.

Please remember to download the RAVE Guardian application in the event emergency information needs to be communicated.

If you have any questions as it relates to your classes, please contact your instructors. If you are a student living on one of our campuses, please reach out to the Residence Life staff for assistance if needed.
