Jake Boney Soaring with the Angels Scholarship

During my junior year of high school, I began work on attaining my private pilot’s license.  I flew whenever I could, perfecting the flight requirements and studying hard for the FAA ground school test.  I earned my private pilot’s license right before I started college.  I would love to become one of the certified flight instructors at MGA, where I could teach others and share my passion for flight.  Upon completion of the aviation program, I would like to be hired by one of the major airlines (i.e., Delta) and begin my career as a commercial pilot.

I was thrilled to learn of my selection for this honor and am deeply appreciative of your support.
