JOB SUMMARY

This is a part-time, student position with responsibilities in event set-up, refereeing, scorekeeping, customer-service, and other duties as assigned. This position will report to the part-time student managers and full-time professional staff.

MAJOR DUTIES 

• Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and community members
• Ensure front-desk forms are organized and stocked up daily
• Set-up and take down equipment for intramural and other sports/wellness related activities
• Keep scores and stats for intramural games including but not limited to football, volleyball, soccer, badminton, basketball, and various one-day activities and tournaments
• Perform housekeeping duties including laundry, organizing/cleaning equipment, inventory, etc..
• Ensure cleanliness of intramural equipment and facilities and notify supervisors of any services needed
• Communicate any student/member concerns or suggestions to supervisors
• Attend any meetings/training assigned by supervisors
• Have knowledge of all current and upcoming Intramural, Fitness, and Wellness related events
• Promote and encourage students to participate in hosted events
• Represent Middle Georgia State University with professionalism

 QUALIFICATIONS 

• Must be currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at MGA
• Must be in good overall academic standing
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  -Hours of the facility are 6:00am-12:00am

 Preferred

• Previous knowledge in refereeing, scorekeeping, stats, and game-day operations is a plus
