Nursing programs now accepting applications for spring semester

The Department of Nursing announces that it is now accepting applications for all pre-licensure degree programs (ASN, BSN) for spring 2014 admission on the Macon and Warner Robins campuses.

The selection process will continue to be competitive. The application period is July 8-Sept. 12.

To validate your application, students must have admitted status in the MGSC Admissions Office no later than Aug. 30 AND must submit an HESI A2 entrance exam score taken during this application period. Previous transcripts and transcripts from other institutions are invalid for the MGSC nursing application.

The Department of Nursing is also accepting applications for the RN-BSN Completion Online Program. You must have an unencumbered, unrestricted Georgia Professional of Registered Nurse license to apply to this program. The online application is available from July 8 through Oct. 4.

To validate this application, students must have admitted status in the MGSC Admissions Office no later than Sept. 20. Both BSN programs require the successful completion of BSN core curriculum courses prior to beginning the program. ASN applicants must have successfully completed all of Area A and Anatomy & Physiology I and II prior to beginning the program.

Currently, the nursing programs in Macon and Warner Robins admit students for the spring and fall semesters. The nursing programs in Dublin and Cochran currently only admit students for the fall semester. Please check the School of Health Sciences website often for application periods, deadlines and campus offerings.
