Dr. Eric Sun, Middle Georgia State's interim associate vice president for academic affairs, was honored at the 28th annual conference of the Human-Anatomy & Physiology Society (HAPS) with the 2014 President’s Medal. The President’s Medal is awarded to a HAPS member who has provided exemplary service to the society. Sun received the award specifically in recognition of the work he and his HAPS testing committee co-chair, Dr. Curtis Defriez, did on developing a new online standardized comprehensive anatomy and physiology exam.
