Middle Georgia State Developing Unmanned Vehicle Program

Georgia hopes to be a big part of the growing unmanned aerial systems market, and Middle Georgia State College’s Eastman campus has become a big part of those efforts.

“Now that the regulations are moving forward, now is the right time to build an academic program around these unmanned aerial systems,” said Chad Dennis, who will direct the new program. The hope is to have classes roll out in the spring and no later than fall 2015.
