Work Begins on Veterans Training Center in Warner Robins

WARNER ROBINS -- Construction of Georgia’s education center for veterans is underway.

Excavation work on the site began about a month ago and work on the building itself should start soon, said Nancy Stroud, Middle Georgia State University’s vice president of finance and administration.

The projected completion date is May 1, 2016. Stroud said she is excited to see the work get started.

“We’ve been talking about this for over two years now,” she said. “We think it is going to be a really good thing for veterans.”
