MGA History Student Organization and Gay-Straight Alliance Host Political Discussion with State Representatives

The Middle Georgia State University History Student Organization and the Gay-Straight Alliance, both student organizations, are hosting area members of the Georgia House of Representatives for a panel discussion of current political events, including the upcoming presidential election.

This event, scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 13 at the Arts Complex Theater on MGA’s Macon Campus, is free and open to the public.

Scheduled to attend are state representatives Miriam Paris and James Beverly of Macon; Heath Clark of Warner Robins; and Jimmy Pruett of Eastman. Moderating will be Dr. Lori A. Johnson, Mercer University Political Science professor.

The panel discussion is designed to offer MGA students and members of the general public an opportunity to meet area politicians and learn about important issues in state and national politics.
