Career Goals: “I am an entrepreneur at heart. I am going to start my own graphic design business. I hope to create a nonprofit to connect women who are survivors of domestic and sexual abuse with mental health resources.”

She chose Middle Georgia State University because … “I already had an associate’s degree in psychology from MGA, so I considered it home.”

The greatest thing she discovered about Middle Georgia State was … “The culture of the professors and the diversity of students! I am a non-traditional student and I love the fact that there are so many non-traditional students. The professors are fantastic and I feel like they genuinely want me to succeed.”

Her greatest academic experience as a Middle Georgia State student has been … “The quality of the education I am receiving in my program and the confidence it has instilled in me. I have pushed my limits and stepped out of my comfort zone, with the support and encouragement of my professors, more than I ever have.”

To her, greatness means … “Striving to be better than you were yesterday in all that you do. It means pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone to experience new things and finding happiness in all that you choose to do.”

In five years … “After I graduate I plan to apply to graduate school work toward a Master of Fine Arts degree, and I plan to start working on my nonprofit.”
