Ethics and Compliance Reporting

The University System of Georgia (USG) and Middle Georgia State University (MGA) have contracted with Global Compliance, which provides a System-wide solution for members of the MGA community to report confidentially and anonymously any issues of concern or perceived fiscal misconduct to management. Global Compliance ensures that the campus can appropriately respond to items promptly. It provides flexibility to set up anonymous communications and feedback.

Any reported perceived fiscal misconduct concerns brought to the Office of Internal Audit or the hotline are followed through by the campus triage committee. The triage committee consists of the Counsel to the President, Human Resources Director, Chief of Police and the Internal Auditor. The committee will determine to the extent necessary the appropriate review or investigation. The committee may also make a recommendation to seek outside consultation from other MGA and University System departments or outside agencies. In all perceived fiscal misconduct related reports, it is the intent of the Office of Internal Audit to follow the procedures outlined in Section 16.4 of the University System of Georgia Business Procedures Manual – Reporting Wrongdoing.
