Advisement
- Students transferring in <45 credit hours are advised by assigned advisor in School/Department
- Students transferring in >45 credit hours are initially advised by a Transfer Specialist
Out of State – GA History/Constitution:
- Students transferring in a US History course from an out-of-state institution or from a private institution in Georgia whose catalog does not specify that the course meets the requirement are required to satisfy the GA History requirement.
- Students transferring in an equivalent political science course from and out-of-state institution for a private institution in Georgia whose catalog does not specify that the course meet the requirement are required to satisfy the GA Constitution requirement.
Residency Requirement:
- Associate: Students seeking an associate’s degree from Middle Georgia State University are required to earn a minimum of 25% of the credit hours required for the degree at the institution.
- Baccalaureate: Students seeking a bachelor’s degree from Middle Georgia State University are required to earn a minimum of 25% of the credit hours required for the degree at the institution.
