• When looking at class:
    o 80 percent of black or African-American characters were upper class, while 20 percent
         were lower class
    o 100 percent of Hispanic or Latino characters were middle class
    o 55 percent of white characters were upper class, while 44 percent were middle class

However, in 2012, pewsocialtrends.org states that:
    o 17 percent of black or African-American citizens are upper class, 48 percent are middle
         class, and 33 percent are lower class
    o 12 percent of Hispanic or Latino citizens are upper class, 47 percent are middle class, and
         40 percent are lower class
    o 17 percent of white citizens are upper class, 51 percent are middle class, and 31 percent
         are lower class

• When looking at history of drug or alcohol use:
    o 80 percent of black or African-American characters had no history of drug or alcohol use,
         while 20 percent had a history of heavy drug or alcohol use.
    o 100 percent of Hispanic or Latino characters had a history of light drug or alcohol use.
    o 11 percent of white characters had no history of drug or alcohol use, 44 percent had a
         history of light drug or alcohol use, 11 percent had a history of moderate use, 11 percent
         had a history of heavy use, and use by the remaining 11 percent was unidentifiable.

While americanaddictioncenters.org states that as of 2017:
    o 6.8 percent of black or African-American citizens struggle with substance abuse.
    o 6.6 percent of Hispanic or Latino citizens struggle.
    o 7.7 percent of white citizens struggle.
