Our program features a strong integration of theoretical and applied mathematics which will prepare you for a vast number of fields in which to work and ample job prospects. The profession of mathematician is consistently in the top rated jobs, as reported by CareerCast. Currently, the U.S. is experiencing an acute shortage of math educators, researchers, statisticians, actuaries, quantitative analysts, appraisers, designers, pollsters, epidemiologists, and other specialists with strong mathematical backgrounds. You're also free to use your mathematical abilities in pursuing your other interests. Fields such as biostatistics, video game design, computer animation, digital imagery, and many others are grounded in mathematics.
