Middle Georgia State University hosted its Thanks to our generous sponsors! DEVELOPMENT & ALUMNI AFFAIRS UPDATE
third annual Heart of Georgia Air Show
on Sept. 30 at the University’s School
of Aviation in Eastman. The air show, organized
by the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs,
featured an exciting line-up of flying displays and
amazing aerial performances. In addition to these
aerobatic performances, this family-friendly event
included an opportunity to engage students of
all ages and teach at a fun and entertaining event
while showcasing STEM activities and careers.
More than 2,300 alumni, students, and friends
from the region attended.
An endeavor this large requires a total team
effort and that is why building partnerships is
such a critical component for this event to be
successful. We have assembled a top-notch staff
of professionals and volunteers to execute this
event and we want to recognize and thank our
volunteers, sponsors and community supporters
who stepped up to make this airshow weekend a
reality.
Thank you to all the guests who came out and
helped us make this a thrilling and wonderful day!
