Middle Georgia State University hosted The 2017 air show is scheduled for September 30.
its second annual Heart of Georgia Air
Show in fall 2016, celebrating the 20th
anniversary of the School of Aviation and the
50th anniversary of the Heart of Georgia Regional
Airport. The air show featured an exciting lineup
of flying displays and aerial performances. The
family-friendly event included an excellent
opportunity to engage students of all ages and
teach at a fun and entertaining event while
showcasing STEM activities and careers.
The Heart of Georgia Air Show attracted
more than 2,600 alumni, students and friends
from the Central Georgia area. Thank you to all
sponsors and guests who came out and helped
celebrate these significant milestones.
