Use your MGA Student Email Address to log into your MGA email account. You will receive this address in your acceptance email. Learn how to log in by reviewing the instructions New Student Webmail Log in

NOTE: It can take up to eight weeks to complete the financial aid process.
Log in to SWORDS, Middle Georgia State’s Student Web Organized Records & Data System. You can use SWORDS to register, view your schedule, drop/add classes and check your financial aid status.
*You must set up your MGA Email Address FIRST in order to log into SWORDS.

Now that you have been admitted you will need to register for classes. As soon as the registration period opens for the semester for which you are admitted, you may contact your academic advisor for an appointment. Go to mga.edu/advisors. Classes fill up quickly so you should register early!
Students who fall under the residency requirement must sign a housing contract and live in a residence hall. For more information, including student housing locations, contracts, fees and application process, go to mga.edu/residence-life/
Sign up for New Student Orientation and ATTEND: mga.edu/orientation. It’s the best way to start your university experience!
