Academic Advising

Academic Advising provides students with information and skills that enable them to critically assess their goals, develop a comprehensive plan of study that culminates in certification, licensure, and/ or graduation, create a schedule for progressing through the plan, and monitor the results of that plan.

Freshmen, sophomores, students on academic probation and students with Learning Support requirements must meet with an academic advisor each semester. Juniors and seniors are to meet with their academic advisors once per academic year. Seniors are encouraged to schedule the annual meeting Fall semester to complete a degree audit and the application for graduation.

Graduate students are advised by their Graduate Program Coordinators which can be found under their specific programs of Graduates Studies.
