Continuing and Professional Education

The Department of Continuing and Professional Education offers educational enrichment and professional training programs that promote the values of life-long learning, cultural exploration, and career enhancement necessary for sustainable success in a changing economic environment.”

The Department of Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) offers a variety of traditional and online learning environments for alumni, senior citizens, adult learners, and working professionals who wish to engage in personal enrichment programs or in training experiences essential to their career development.

Individuals can enroll in a variety of non-credit courses and seminars offered in an informal and non-competitive environment. Instructional methods include face-to-face classroom instruction and online/blended delivery methods.

Whether you are seeking a course for personal enrichment, preparing for your next promotion, or maintaining certifications and licenses, the courses offered through CPE will help you achieve your goal.

For corporate, governmental, and community-based organizations, CPE offers additional services that can help strengthen workforce capabilities to help each organization achieve their goals.

Since the fall of 2018, Continuing Education has partnered with the civilian leadership of Robins Air Force Base to deliver leadership classes for first-time supervisors, experts in their areas of supervision, but those who have had no previous leadership orientation.

If your organization wants to develop a similar class, please see our Corporate Learning page for more information.
