Continuing Education

Continuing Education offers a variety of traditional and innovative learning environments for alumni, senior citizens, adult learners, and working professionals who wish to engage in personal enrichment programs or in training experiences essential to their career development.

Students can participate in a variety of non-credit courses and seminars offered in an informal and non-competitive environment. Instructional methods include face-to-face classroom instruction and online/blended delivery methods.

As a new program in the redesign of Continuing Education at Middle Georgia State University, the Master Lectures and Conversations Series continues to promote public engagement with the great ideas of our times. These lectures, classes, and conversations are brought to the public by MGA and its intellectual partners. Most presentations will be free of charge, but some will require paid registration through Continuing Education if the event format is an actual class.

Since the fall of 2018, Continuing Education has partnered with the civilian leadership of Robins Air Force Base to deliver leadership classes for first-time supervisors, experts in their areas of supervision, but those who have had no previous leadership orientation. If your organization wants to develop a similar class, please see our Guidelines for Corporate Partnerships on the site menu.

If you are a faculty member or an expert in the community, please contact us about developing a course or even presenting a lunch and learn opportunity. See our guidelines on the site menu and email a completed proposal to .
