Knights of Success

The Knights of Success is university-sponsored organization focused on campus, community, and civic engagement. Students participating in the organization will develop valuable leadership skills through participation. Our vision is this organization will help transform our students, campus, and communities through active participation in campus and community events to encourage everyone to maximize human potential. Our mission is to provide leadership, development, and service opportunities to students in order to contribute to the holistic development of the individual and provide them with the soft-skills necessary for professional and personal success.

Dr. James Blackburn
Associate Provost, Academic Innovation | Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Dr. Blackburn is a transformative leader, who uses design thinking, cognitive science, and technology to help individuals and organization achieve their goals. His primary research interest is in how internal beliefs influence decision making and how these beliefs can be changed over time to help individuals achieve their maximum potential.

Dr. Corey Guyton
Director of Student Engagement | Office of Student Life | African American Male Initiative

Dr. Guyton is a student-centered servant leader, who uses empirically driven data to provide resources to meet the needs of college students. He believes that each student has a unique story. His role is to help them further write and develop it.

We have prepared several quests for you in your journey to becoming an MGA Knight and eventually a Knight of Success.

If you are a Freshman, you have been assigned to an Academic Community. We recommend you begin your quests through the Academic Community. For others, you can request access to the Knights of Success portal to access the Knights Quest.
