Study Abroad Insurance
The University System of Georgia negotiates a system-wide insurance policy that is mandatory for all study abroad participants. Starting August 1, 2024, the new Zurich policy will be administered by Gallagher—USG’s new insurance broker. The rates for the upcoming academic year (August 1, 2024 - July 31, 2025) for the new Zurich policy will be:

This rate applies to all students, faculty, and staff engaging in any type of international travel (travel need not be study abroad based)
No separate plan is needed for faculty and staff on non-study abroad related travel (any person affiliated with your institution may sign up to use this policy)
Dependents are covered at a rate of $0.82 per day (spouses and children)
