workforce. VECTR operations are administered
by MGA. MGA and Central Georgia Technical
College (CGTC) work together to provide
programs for vets and their families.
Selected MGA and CGTC classes and/or
programs will be regularly offered at VECTR, but
the center primarily provides assistance getting
veterans enrolled at any of the state’s 29 Univer-
sity System of Georgia institutions or its 22
Technical College System of Georgia institutions.
Other services include career counseling, educa-
tional coaching, workforce training and more.
The $10 million facility is about 32,000 square
feet and sits on 44 acres. It includes industrial
training bays, 10 classrooms, conference rooms, a
testing center, staff offices and a student break
area.
About 10 people work for VECTR helping
veterans and families with testing, community
support, success coaching and more. Both Middle
Georgia State and Central Georgia Tech have
directors of Military and Veterans Education with
offices at VECTR. VECTR also provides space for
representatives of the state departments of Labor,
Veteran Services and Veterans Affairs, as well as
United Way.
VECTR is located at 1001 S. Armed Forces
Boulevard in Warner Robins, behind Huntington
Middle School and close to Robins Air Force Base.
