Dr. Matt Jennings looks at an exhibit at the Visitors Center
at Ocmulgee National Monument in east Macon. In 2015,
Jennings received Middle Georgia State University’s faculty
award for Excellence in Scholarship. His research is not solely
focused on Ocmulgee but he is recognized as a leading
scholar of the site’s history. John Legg
