Recognizing students who have excelled academically in the collegiate environment has long been a tradition at University System of Georgia institutions. At Middle Georgia State University, academic deans, associate deans, department chairs and faculty members work diligently to identify exceptional students. Students recognized at Honors Convocation represent Middle Georgia State's brightest scholars who have excelled in the classroom after completing at least 30 hours of study here.
