Tuition

Tuition and Fees charged by Middle Georgia State University are approved by the University System of Georgia annually. Changes in tuition and fee rates are typically effective fall semester each year.

Actual costs are determined when a student registers for classes each semester and are based on student level, residency, credit hours, and miscellaneous course fees. Actual charges will appear on the student's online invoice via SWORDS.



Financial Aid

The U.S. Department of Education (DOE) has approved Middle Georgia State University to offer financial aid for all its master’s degrees; however, the Certificate in Technical Writing and Digital Communication is not approved for financial aid.

Alternative Loans

Alternative Education Loans, also known as Private Education Loans, are offered by private lenders and there are no federal forms to complete. Alternative Education Loan approval is credit based. Lenders offer varying fees, interest rates and repayment options. MGA uses FASTChoice as a loan comparison service.

Tuition Assistance Programs (TAP)

Check with your employer to see if they offer a Tuition Assistance Program.

Employees of Middle Georgia State University may be eligible for TAP.
