MSOT Graduation Requirements
Graduation eligibility will be determined by the Registrar’s office. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that all graduation requirements have been met and completing a graduation application/payment of graduation fee by the published Graduation Application Deadlines.
To graduate from the MSOT program, students must:
- Meet the graduation policies as stated in the MGA Graduate Studies Academic Catalog.
- Earn a cumulative program GPA of 3.0.
- Meet all requirements for progression in the program (refer to MSOT Student Handbook).
- Complete all didactic and fieldwork courses specified for the MSOT curriculum in accordance with the curriculum sequence for OTMS-prefix courses.
- Fulfill all financial obligations with Middle Georgia State University.
- Complete all Level II fieldwork within 18 months following completion of the didactic portion of the program.

Also note:
- In order to obtain a job as an Occupational Therapist, one must become certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and licensed by the state in which one practices.
- Graduates of the MGA OT Program may be eligible to sit for the National Certification Exam OT
- A felony conviction may affect the ability to participate in fieldwork during the program, sit for the certification exam, or obtain licensure.
