Health Informatics

Informatics is the bridge that connects Information Technology to other areas of study. The Concentration in Health Services Administration provides students with a strong foundation in IT as well as a deeper understanding of the American health care system.  Health Informatics deals with the resources, devices and methods to utilize acquisition, storage, retrieval, and use of information in health and medicine. Students will learn how to uses information technology to organize and analyze health records to improve healthcare outcomes.
