Academic Programs
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is a unit of the School of Computing. The department offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with the options of an Applied Mathematics track or Mathematics Education track. The department also offers a minor in Mathematics. These programs provide students with the analytical and problem-solving skills required to advance in today's workforce.
New FULLY ONLINE Program in Data Analytics – Starting Fall 2025
The Data Analytics concentration builds a strong foundation in mathematics, analytical methods, and database management. Students gain hands-on experience in data exploration, visualization, and predictive modeling to drive informed decision-making. Graduates emerge ready for diverse careers in business intelligence, data science, or future graduate study.
