Health Insurance

Some students are required to have health insurance coverage and will automatically have the Student Health Insurance Program (SHIP) fee added to their student account each semester.  These students include international students holding "F" or "J" visas and any student enrolled in a Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Science or Health Services Administration program that requires practicum work in a clinical setting.  These students will be required to either officially accept the coverage plan or submit a waiver if they have existing insurance coverage which meets the waiver requirements.  A voluntary student insurance plan is also available at the start of each semester.  Please visit the University’s Student Health Insurance website
