Employer Resources

Want to work with the CCLD to help recruit for your internships? Below we have outlined ways you can engage with students about your internship opportunities. For assistance with any of these, please reach out to Dr. Heather McIntosh, Assistant Director for Internships & Career Readiness, at

Post internships on Handshake for FREE. Students use Handshake to see which employers are seeking MGA grads, so we strongly encourage you to keep your postings active. We also feature postings in our weekly newsletter. Thinking about a summer or fall intern? Start now to get the best candidates!

Participate in the CCLD’s biannual All Industry Job & Internship Fair. Every March and October our office hosts an All-Industry Job & Internship Fair for MGA students and alums. This event is on our Macon campus and averages 150 attendees. This fair is a great way to meet students face-to-face to tell them about your internship opportunities! Booth fees to attend vary according to company type. Employers can see all upcoming fairs here

Host a virtual session to discuss your available internship opportunities. We invite employers to participate in any of our Virtual Internship Series weeks! Weeks usually take place in February, April, September, and November. Virtual sessions will also be recorded and shared on our departmental YouTube channel.

Host an external internship-specific recruitment event and advertise as an event in Handshake. If you are hosting your own recruitment event for your internship opportunities, you can create an event in Handshake and post the link.

Let us help you develop an internship program. We can work with you to develop a job description and application process in addition to getting your position promoted to students and appropriate academic departments.

-We are also glad to talk with you individually about your organization's recruiting needs and how we can best support your efforts.
